The weekends can be a very busy time in the Goodwin household most of the time, but there are some weekends where we get to chill and relax for a little while. This past weekend was one of those weekends. We hung out and played inside most of the day on Saturday and by the end of the day on Sunday, we had to make sure the kids were able to get their “wiggles” out.
We decided to take the kids over to the splash park in our town of Sandwich. It is a nice way to get out of the house, get wet and have some fun with infants and toddlers for FREE!
We had a great time visiting the park and playing in the water until a storm rolled in about 15 minutes before the park closed. We had to run to the car while getting even more wet from the oncoming storm. All was fun though, here’s some images of kids having fun:
We had a lot of fun going out and playing in the water and although we were there less then an hour, the splash park did a great job of letting the kids run around and get to experience a fun, new place! We will definitely be returning in the future!
What kind of fun, free or low-cost things are you planning this summer to do with your kids?
